Estookin "Cyber Creation"

“Cyber Creation,” which premiered at "Tartu Uus Teater," was the debut exhibition of the Tartu-based digital artist Estookin. It featured retro-futuristic digital paintings inspired by the atmosphere of the 1960s–80s, rendered through a cyberpunk lens.

The works depict references from both Western and Russian culture, imagining the past in a dystopian future. The environments and characters in the paintings explore transhumanism and the dialogues between technology and humans.

Estookin Andreen (b. 1997) is an artist dedicated to 2D illustration, who, rather than sleeping, tries not to spill coffee on her graphics tablet. Estookin has worked as a designer for the Estonian video game company Limestone Games, as well as for MängudeÖÖ, Estonia’s largest event series devoted to video games and virtual reality.
